You’ve done the talk therapy. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, tried meditating, done the inner work (all wonderful things) or simply tried to ‘push through.’ But still, you feel it - that frustration that you aren’t getting where you want to be or being who you want to be. “I had the pleasure of attending Shannon's 6-week program “THE SHIFT”. I went into it stuck, lost and heartbroken. With very little knowledge or past experience with breathwork I was unsure of what would be achieved but was also open to the experience. She is an absolutely amazing, calm mannered, knowledgeable teacher. Each week brought me more clarity. Using the breath and journaling to move through such a difficult time was very transformative. Module one she explained the nervous system in a way that was easy for me to understand. We worked through what our body sees as “triggers” and how to recognize them. Module four was where I really started to feel good, which funny enough was the feel-good module. In this module I learned about manifesting from a trauma-based place which is something I had never done before. With each week she worked with us through journal prompts, yoga nidra, movement and of course breathwork. There is so much practical knowledge around what was keeping me blocked and stuck which I found was the most beneficial part of the course. By week six I was actually sad it was over, I really enjoyed investing my time and energy into this course. I came out on the other side calmer, clearer and with tools to help in my everyday life.
